The Kenya Universities Professional Counselors Association (KUPCA) is a registered organization (Certificate No. 33613) under the Kenya Societies Act (Cap 108). We draw our membership from all counselors carrying out their duties in Kenyan public and private universities.

We seek to promote the highest quality of service and international best practices in the provision of counselling services to students. We achieve this by setting the standards for counselling services, enforcing the professional code of conduct among our members and by creating platforms that includes workshops, seminars and training programmes for the sharing of information, experiences and lessons learnt.

The importance of our membership cannot be gainsaid, considering the significant role that professional counsellors play in guiding, coaching and mentoring students throughout the course in their higher learning. This helps the students to effectively manage challenges regarding professional growth and development, as well as mental and emotional health. Given this, the provision of professional counselling service remains an integral part of higher learning and worthwhile pursuit for our association's membership.
